if the jeans fit

wearing my new jeans today
bought them last week with my rebate vouchers *lol*
buying jeans is something kinda sacred for me
it's kinda like a fatness & fitness indicator
my faves, of course would be Levis
i've had a few trusty Levis that i wore until they're extremely unwearable ie torn at places that's really not so torn-jeans style hahahah

anyways...my Levis would be a size 28
i know....for a 5footer like me..that's huge
what can i say? i'm too fat for my own good hahaha
a 27 would fit my waist nicely, but alas...my bum's too big for their ladies' size 27, so i have to make do with a 28..else i would be able to pull my jeans up

unbelievable...there was a time when i lost so much weight, i was wearing a size 25!!!
yeah...really unbelieavable...but i have the jeans with Ms LoveLii for proof
i only got to wear it for a short time though (i believe it lasted for only 3-4mths)
after i bought those jeans..i went to work in a new company..where everyday i only get to sit on my bum from 9 to 5
i gained lotsa n lotsa weight
so i had to put my dear jeans for adoption :(
it was the nicest pair of Levis i ever had
owh well~

so i was prepared for the worst when i went to buy my latest pair
went to Sogo
a few weeks back, i've checked out the Levis girls
had one design which was affordable enough (only 100++)
so i asked the salesgirl for my size, 28, and she said the biggest size they had was 27
and i was like *wtf???!!!* inside ler~
then again, i thought, owh maybe because it was Levis GIRLS, not Levis LADIES
i mean..Levis wont be so harsh on us big-sized women so as to make only up to size 27, right?
anyhow, since i cant get the normal M505 that i usually get for myself (over my budget), i guess i'll just have to give Levis a miss
so last weekend when i went to Sogo, i went for Jeep instead
checked out the styles...and hurray! they've bootcut
and it was only $140! yeay!
i checked out size 8 (lol, am being realistic abt my size)
but the waist looked too wide
checked out size 6
hurmmm...looked just right...but i was skeptical about the bum
i squeezed out all my courage (like i said...buying jeans is very sacred for me)
i went to the fitting room
i pulled up the jeans up
i expected some resistance once it reached my thighs
but up n up they went
and LO and BEHOLD!!!
the jeans fit!
yeay!!!! i'm still a size 6! hahahahahhaa
i so very proudly asked for a new pair from the salesperson
and very happily went to pay my jeans
not a bad retail theraphy session, if i must say so ;)

now.....i'll aim for that size 4
or at least a size-27 Levis Girls (^-^)v
